My first employment following graduation was with a large Canadian grocery food chain at their head office. I started off as a Production Artist, and during my 3 years of employment was promoted to a Graphic Design position. My next job was at a smaller design firm, where I gained more experience working closely with clients on a wide variety of projects. After four years, I resigned and decided it was time to travel and return home to Kenya. I lived there for 6 months, volunteering my time as a Designer to a Graphics agency. I then moved to Doha, Qatar in the Middle East where I worked for 9 months at a large world-renown design agency.

I am currently back in Vancouver BC, and feeling very
grateful for the experiences that I have had. Working with people from different countries and cultures, has really given me an opportunity to explore the common aspect of design and to learn how to appreciate the way different cultures do things. I am very impressed by my fellow designers. Their passion for designing unique work will forever inspire me!

My Work

I approach my work with a unique perspective that takes into account your needs and your individual style. My style and technique are broad and flexible, having been developed over years of training and experience. Projects that I have worked on include corporate branding, promotional packages, designing food packaging, product labels, brochures, catalogues and posters, logos and illustrations that are used on packaging or promotional materials, as well as design advertising layouts for magazines and newspapers.

Whether you're looking for a simple logo or need help with a larger project, I would love to work with you. Feel free to look through my portfolio for samples of my work. If you have any questions, please contact me.
